The process of a juvenile criminal case, Rights for your child, sealing juvenile records, What to do if your child has been arrested. Will my child's case be sent to adult court? and a Questions and Answers session at the conclusion.

Court is located at 300 E. Walnut Street, Pasadena, CA 91101. There
are two bench officers that handle delinquency matters at the Pasadena
Juvenile Court. They are as follows:
Pasadena
Juvenile Court Judge Phillip Soto in Department 270. Judge Soto graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelors Degree in 1981 and from Loyola University School of Law in 1986. He worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office from 1987 - 1992. He then worked for Morris, Polich & Purdy from 1992 - 1994 and then worked at Manning, Marder & Wolfe as a associate attorney from 1994 to 1998. Governor Pete Wilson appointed him to the Southeast Municipal Court in 1998. In the year 2000, he was elevated to the Los Angeles Superior Court on January 24, 2000 thru Court Unification. He is 50 years of age in 2010.

Juvenile Court Commissioner Robert Leventer in Department 271. Commissioner Leventer graduated from the University of Michigan in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and from the People's College of the Law in 1979. He served as Staff Attorney for the Western Center for Law and the Handicapped from 1979-1980. He served as Staff Attorney for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles from 1980 - 1982. He served as an associate with the law firm of Newman, Aaronson & Vanaman in Sherman Oaks from 1983 - 1986. he worked as a Dependency Attorney in the the Los Angeles Dependency Court from 1987 - 1988. and has been serving as a bench officer since 1991. He was appointed as a Juvenile Court Referee. He is 55 years old in 2010 and is a registered Democrat.
